Prayer is the practice of the presence of God. It is the place where pride is abandoned, hope is lifted, and supplication is made. Prayer is the place of admitting our need, of adopting humility, and claiming dependence upon God. Prayer is the needful practice of the Christian. Prayer is the exercise of faith and hope. Prayer is the privilege of touching the heart of the Father through His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. James 4:8

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:6-7

Father, in Your mercy, hear our prayers.

"Dear Friends & family,
The doctor has ordered a biopsy for Brent\'s, my son, kidneys tomorrow. There is decreased function of his kidneys, so please pray that that is from dehydration and the infection--NOT from any scarring. I had forgotten that he suffered from food poisoning several years ago while in Thailand on a missions trip. He ended up in the hospital there due to the severity of the problem. The biopsy will show if there is scarring and how much is present, if any. Please pray there is NONE and that God would heal his body completely. Thank you!"

Prayers for & Update on my momView PDF Print Send Email

"We found out last week that my moms CA125 counts had gone up for the 2nd time in a row. Her stomach is bloated with tumor growth and her MRI showed very little if any change in the existing cancer. They decided to do more aggresive chemos and increase the frequency to 3 weeks on 1 off.

Last night she had a miny stroke (TIA). We are waiting to hear back from her doctor about what the plan is. Her blood pressure has been extremely high because one of the side effects of the chemo is closing all vessels not just the ones feeding the cancer.

Please pray for my mom and my family. My littlest brother (14) is having an really hard time."

Coffee House Style Worship

Host: Pastor Jeff

Sunday Worship at JAYA is unique and inviting.

Don't like church but love God?  Tired of being judged and condemned? Looking for the something missing in your life but organized religion scares you?

If you answered yes to any of these, you will love us!  At JAYA, you sit at tables, eat great food, drink coffee (other beverages available) and meet new friends. Plus you are able to raise your hand and ask questions throughout the evening. Try doing that at church!

This is Worship at it's best.  Eat, Drink, Worship!
