Prayer is the practice of the presence of God. It is the place where pride is abandoned, hope is lifted, and supplication is made. Prayer is the place of admitting our need, of adopting humility, and claiming dependence upon God. Prayer is the needful practice of the Christian. Prayer is the exercise of faith and hope. Prayer is the privilege of touching the heart of the Father through His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. James 4:8

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:6-7

Father, in Your mercy, hear our prayers.

No Where to TurnView PDF Print Send Email

"This is very difficult to write and hard to know where to begin. Well, as you know I have been un or underemployed for over three years. The unemployment ran out last February. Now, a few weeks ago I had another mild stroke and missed work. I am in dire financial straits and just don\'t know where to turn. All our utilities are past due (actually, the water was cut off yesterday) and with only three payments left on my car, they are threatening to repossess it."

Thank you for the prayersView PDF Print Send Email

"Thank you so much for the prayer. My son was release this past Monday morning after 8 days in the hospital. He had his wisdom teeth surgically removed about a week prior to that and they believe he developed an infection in his mouth and throat from that surgery.

It must have been a pretty nasty infection because it took a long while for them to find an antibiotic that would work. They also found he was allergic to one of his medications which probably prolonged his stay. They operated on his neck twice last week to remove dead tissue and infection.

He is home now and resting. It will probably be some weeks before he has his full strength back.

Thank you for your conitnued prayers"
